Description The Bombers Eggbutt Ultra Comfy Lock Up snaffle is designed to follow the contour of the horse’s tongue. The central joint is double locked, ensuring the angle of the bit over the tongue remains correct, even when a contact is taken up. Individual lateral aids are also retained. The Eggbutt cheek helps to prevent pinching of the horse’s lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. In addition, it prevents the bit being pulled through the horse’s mouth. The release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure. The sweet iron mouthpiece stimulates salivation which in turn encourages a softer mouth.
