Description The Bombers Eggbutt Elliptical snaffle offers more control than bits with a central plate. This is due to the concentrated pressure on a small area underneath the central link. Suited for use on a horse that likes to push the bit with its tongue. The horse will draw its head back and tuck the chin in, allowing a better control of balance. The sweet iron mouthpiece stimulates salivation which in turn encourages a softer mouth. The Eggbutt cheek helps to prevent pinching of the horse’s lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. In addition, it prevents the bit being pulled through the horse’s mouth.
