Description The Bombers Eggbutt Happy Tongue Snaffle features a ported mouthpiece uniquely shaped to provide maximum tongue relief. The Eggbutt cheek helps to prevent pinching of the horse’s lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. In addition, it prevents the bit being pulled through the horse’s mouth. The release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure. The mouthpiece is gently curved to be softer on the bars of the mouth and slow in applying tongue pressure. Highly recommended for young horses and those that show tongue sensitivity. The sweet iron mouthpiece stimulates salivation which in turn encourages a softer mouth.
