Description These leather running reins are made from 3/4″ wide local leather and have a snap hook at either end. The snap hooks easily attach to a girth loop or d-ring girth attachment. This type of running rein is popularly used by show jumping riders who wish to remove their running reins halfway through a training session or before a competition. Two girth loops are included for riders wishing to fasten the running rein to either side of the girth as supposed to between the horse’s front legs. Running reins are a schooling aid and are designed to encourage the horse to work in a round frame.
