The bit guards are designed to help prevent pinching and rubbing of the horse’s sensitive lip and cheek area from bit pressure. In addition the bit guards help to keep the bit from pulling through the horse’s mouth. A small slit enables an easy on and off motion. Simply pull on for a safe and secure fit.
