Some patterns include beads. There is a section on how to work the the various techniques you’ll use (split ring, cluny tatting, double picot, etc), and each has multiple photographs to demonstrate the steps. Each pattern has a beautiful photo of the finished piece and includes a detailed diagram. Instructions are in Japanese (Google Translate appears to works well, if needed). 88 pages.
